Exitile Supports Charity Hospital After Devastating Fire

20th September 2021

In 2007, Exitile formed the charity Friends of Ashanti to build the Gary Marvin Memorial Hospital in Kumasi, Ghana. The hospital was completed in 2017 and provides essential support and medical care to those in the local area. The continued combined support of Friends of Ashanti and Exitile has provided additional medical supplies such as beds, new machinery, and supplies, including many reading books, and 100 pairs of reading glasses for children with poor sight.

However, in early September 2021, a large fire broke out in the hospital, completely destroying parts of the structure and the equipment within. The devastating effects of this fire leave many vulnerable individuals at risk, with no medical support or care. Friends of Ashanti are in urgent need of financial support to help rebuild this hospital.

As supporting members of the charity and hospital, Exitile have donated a large lump sum to help support the rebuild. However, we know that this is not enough. This is why we have promised to donate £5 of the profits for every access panel sold on our website to the Friends of Ashanti. With your help, we can support those most at risk from the fire.
