The Project Hythe at Wirral Waters, designed by award winning architects Glenn Howells and delivered by GMI Construction, offers over 25,000 sq ft of modern, high quality, and efficient office space to a wide range of office users. This building has a BREEAM-Excellent rating confirming its efficient and green credentials. This business hub is viewed as an excellent investment and central hub for the growth of business in the area. 25,000 square foot BREEAM-Excellent efficiency rating Project Requirements On this project two different size Riser Doors were required, one single door unit and one double door unit. These needed to meet building requirements of being either 30 or 60-minute fire rated with smoke seals and have a minimum acoustic rating of 35db. Other requirements included primed for on-site decoration, the lock to be offset 755mm off the floor as opposed to central and a fire door keep locked signage to be supplied separate, usually this is something we would install during the manufacturing process, however, on this occasion the contractor on site wanted to fit the signage themselves.
