Completely dismount the door for greater access to the aperture
Fitting Instructions
- Cut a hole in the wall ensuring the aperture is 7mm larger than the panel size
- Open the door, pull the 'L' latch to release the EziFit Hinge System and to lift out the door
- Place the frame into the aperture. Mark the position of the hinge and door retaining pins located towards the hinge side
- Remove the frame and drill clearance holes for spring pin hinge and door retaining pins using an 8mm drill bit
- Apply 5mm bead of mastic to the back edge of the frame
- Fit the door by placing the lower spring pin hinge into its location. Slide the top pin along the inside frame until the hinge locates fully
- If necessary, apply 5mm intumescent acrylic mastic to the rear of the frame to support the construction
- Lock the door in place with the provided key. Ensure the door is flush when closed. For beaded frames, apply scrim tape prior to plastering
